kunst
Luísa
this is art. if you don't believe me then you should have been on the 'open dag' of the KABK (royal academy of art) in The Hague last year, where i took this picture. for the event, i guess they made a major party on the day before and left the remainings for the visitors to look at. the room was so dirty and untidy that one could still feel the 'fun leftovers'! also some artistic creations with food, clothes, furniture, garbage were visible. how droll!

Ijmuiden
Yesterday the sight was beautiful and you could see the ... hoogovens... of Corus, close to Ijmuiden. About 50Km from Scheveningen.

little volcano next to the sea
mafalda, Lanzarote
From 1730 to 1736 (for 2,053 days), the island was hit by a series of volcanic eruptions, creating 32 new volcanoes in a stretch of 18 km. Lava covered a quarter of the island's surface, including the most fertile soil and eleven villages. One hundred smaller volcanoes were located in the area called Montañas del Fuego. In 1768, drought affected the island and winter rains did not fall. Much of the population was forced to emigrate to Cuba and the Americas. Wikipedia
