It's like a galaxy :-) Let me guess: you made it on purpose to see how unpredictable effects can produce beautiful metaphors ;-) I hope you had an extra can of mushrooms ;-)
Nice effect, though :-)
I would guess that it's a jelly-fish thrown on to the beach - looks very slimy and organic!
